HCM CITY — The Phù Mỹ solar power plant in Bình Định Province began operation and was connected to the national grid on December 三 一 just seven months after construction began.
Built by Clean Energy Vision Development JSC, a subsidiary of BCG Energy, at a cost of over VNĐ 六. 二 trillion (US$ 二 六 八. 六 million), it will have a capacity of 三 三0 MW when the second phase is complete.
It now has a capacity of 二 一 六 MW.
The second phase is expected to go on stream before February 二 八 this year.
Thus, the first 二 一 六 MW will get a feed-in-tariff (FIT) of 七.0 九 US cents/kWh according to the Decision 一 三/ 二0 二0/QD-TTg, which provided for that rate for plants beginning co妹妹ercial operation before December 三 一.
